The island of Levkas
Onassis selected his private island Skorpios for a very good reason next to the island Levkas. It is one of the most beautiful islands we ever visited. Everything you need for a nice vacation you can find here. The island can be reached by bridge connected to the main land. The most beautiful beach can be reached by boat or motorbike: Porto Katsiki (see picture).
But also Ag. Petros has a very nice sandy beach. In any case make the daytrip along the little islands close to Levkas. The boats leave from the touristic village Nidri. Nidri is a very pleasant village by the way. It takes a day to make a trip around the island when you stop now and than for a swim and relaxing with some food and a fresh drink.
