Nikos Ignatiadis

Nikos Ignatiadis is one of the most famous composers of Greece. Nikos was in concerts with stars such as Natali Cole, Charles Aznavour, Albano & Romina Power, Glenn Medeiros, Berdien Stenberg, etc. In 1997 a new CD of Nana Mouskouri came out. She sings on it a duet with Julio Eglesias with the title: "Se que volveras". A composition of Nikos. In 1998 a composition of Nikos was released by Engelbert Humperdinck with the title "Something's breaking".

Inspiration

The album called 'Inspiration', released 2007 has a fresh set of compositions. The first title is also one of the best: 'Inspiration". Also 'Caravan' has a catching rithm that will inspire young people also. Click here to order the cd.

New album released with the Children's Choir of Spiros Lambros

 

This album is only available in specific shops in Greece. It is a beautiful album of Nikos' masterpieces with lyrics especially adapted for the children who sing on CD1. It gives a better understanding of the real meaning of the original lyrics, according to Nikos. For many pieces now there are lyrics that used to have no lyrics. On CD2 the choir does not sing. Netherlands Over 12 years Nikos lived in Holland where he used to play his music in Greek restaurants. Zina was very often accompanying him as a singer. Sometimes a concert was organized. Now Nikos is back in Greece. Greece Nikos was already popular in his younger years when he composed songs for singers like Yannis Parios. One of his hits was: Kokkino Garifalo (Red Carnation). This song was succesful in many countries in many languages all over the world. In Holland Benny Nijman made this composition a success with 'Zolang je bij me bent'.
